Day 1 - Meet and Greet
Upon your arrival at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, our chauffeur will meet and escort you to the Pavillon Henri IV in Saint-Germain-en-Laye (where King Louis XIV is born). Enjoy the views of Paris from your suite in this historic hotel and explore the former royal palace, a hidden gem.
Day 2 - From Giverny to Etretat
Your journey begins at the home of Claude Monet at Giverny where you will explore his famous gardens, followed by a guided tour of Rouen and lunch at France's oldest restaurant. Next discover the coast of Haute Normandie starting in Fecamp where you will take a unique mixology class at the extravagant Palace of Benedictine. Continue to Etretat for a memorable two-night stay at the Dormy House and enjoy a gastronomic dinner overlooking the most famous cliffs of France.
Day 3 - Discover the Cliffs of Etretat
Explore the picturesque cliffs of Normandy's Alabaster Coast, discover the local cuisine at an authentic creperie, and explore the town's old market and its neo-futuristic sculpture gardens, Les Jardin d'Etretat. This is Normandy at its best. Finish the day with a gastronomic dinner and panoramic views of the English Channel.
Day 4 - From Honfleur to Bayeux
En route to Bayeux, home of the UNESCO's "Memory of the World" Tapestry that depicts the conquest of England by William the Conqueror, stop at the medieval port of Honfleur. Lunch at your leisure on the old harbor, followed by a local cheese and cider tasting in Pont l'Eveque. Discover the medieval town of Bayeux and relax at the Grand Hotel du Luxembourg & Spa.
Day 5 - From D-Day Landing Sites to Avranches
Step back in time and learn about WWII's D-Day landing. Sites include the American Cemetary and Memorial at Colleville-sur-Mer and the Pointe du Hoc. Stay two nights in the unique Château La Rametière overlooking the Bay of Avranches. Finish with an authentic and fun hands-on cooking class at the castle with a local chef.
Day 6 - Explore the Mont-Saint-Michel Bay
Visit the iconic Mont-Saint-Michel and its thousand-year-old Abbaye and cloisters, a true gothic masterpiece. Enjoy a thrilling sand yachting experience on the bay (at low tide) after discovering Cancale, the oyster capital of France. Enjoy dinner back at the castle along with a flavorful tasting of Calvados and other Normandy local spirits, all made from apples.
Day 7 - Versailles and Dinner Cruise in Paris
On your way back to Paris, stop to visit the famous Chateau de Versailles and take a leisurely bike ride through its majestic gardens. Finish with a dinner cruise on the Seine River, discover Paris by night and raise a glass of champagne at a sparkling Eiffel Tower. Stay at the Hotel Montaigne, a five-star Parisian mansion.
Day 8 - Paris
