Your journey begins at the home of Claude Monet at Giverny where you will explore his famous gardens, followed by a guided tour of Rouen and lunch at France's oldest restaurant. Next discover the coast of Haute Normandie starting in Fecamp where you will take a unique mixology class at the extravagant Palace of Benedictine. Continue to Etretat for a memorable two-night stay at the Dormy House and enjoy a gastronomic dinner overlooking the most famous cliffs of France.
Explore the picturesque cliffs of Normandy's Alabaster Coast, discover the local cuisine at an authentic creperie, and explore the town's old market and its neo-futuristic sculpture gardens, Les Jardin d'Etretat. En route to Bayeux, home of the UNESCO's "Memory of the World" Tapestry that depicts the conquest of England by William the Conqueror, stop at the medieval port of Honfleur. Lunch at your leisure on the old harbor, followed by a local cheese and cider tasting in Pont l'Eveque. Discover the medieval town of Bayeux and relax at the Grand Hotel du Luxembourg & Spa.
Step back in time and learn about WWII's D-Day landing. Sites include the American Cemetary and Memorial at Colleville-sur-Mer and the Pointe du Hoc.
